HAPPY 4th of JULY!!

We arrived in Utah on the 4th of July! Grandma and Grandpa Webb planned a wonderful cookout with all of the family, great food and a huge display of fireworks in the front of the house. We had a great celebration and it was so nice to visit with everyone!
The three princesses--Emily, Haley and Alysabeth!

Getting ready for the "Pledge of Allegiance".

Our Scouts, holding the flags for the pledge.

Caden and Greg--kindred spirits!

Brad's brother Ron and his grandson Cole--sweet!

Dancing in the streets amongst the smoke bombs.

Is the grass tickling your nose Caden?

Cousin Angie and Alysa--girl talk! Alex in the background listening in.

Kenny with my boys and Emily.

Cousin Joe--looks like a kid in a candy store! Thanks for the show!

A little too close to the fireworks with that sparkler, aren't you?

Evan hoarded these fireworks for the FINALE!

On Saturday, July 5th, Grandpa took us to a Salt Lake Bees game. We had a lot of fun and saw some pretty amazing fireworks. There were unique fireworks that I hadn't seen before. Thanks again Grandpa!
My two baseball fans--handsome aren't they!

The girls just HAD to have a Snowie--they shave the ice for you and then you get to pick out your flavor--yum. Alysa, Haley and Emily. Caden is here, I just didn't get any pictures of him.

Slurp, slurp--Aunt Sue is in the background--pink shirt.

A visit with Uncle Jack, Aunt Amanda & Corbin--7/6/08

We got to spend some time with Uncle Jack, Aunt Amanda and Corbin today. It was fun--we had a nice meal out and then played in the backyard for a bit.

Blowing Kisses--sweet boy!

Caden loves spaghetti and meatballs and boy did he cram his mouth full!

Chillin' on the backyard swing!

We need a nap!

Corbin walked around saying, "baseball"--so cute!

Evan, telling Corbin all about baseball!

Alysa just HAD to pick him up!

A little kiss from Corbin to Caden!

Corbin had a blast playing with this microwave. Everytime it would "ding", he would open it up and take a big sniff of whatever was cooking in there--silly boy! It was so good to spend some time with Jack, Amanda and little Corbin!

Thanksgiving Point--Dinosaur Museum

On Monday, July 7th we went to Caden's favorite place of all time--the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. We do this every trip and it is usually one of the first things we do because Caden can't wait to get there! They had a lot of fun!

Watch out for the T-Rex!!!!

This museum is Caden's favorite place--we go here every time we're in Utah!

The kids love playing in this giant sand and water table!

I take one of these pictures every time we go to this museum--I love that giant shark!

Emily's Recital

On Tuesday 7/8, we went to Emily's recital. She did a beautiful job and we were so glad we were there--since they were able to be in CA for Alysa's recital.

On Wednesday, July 9th, it was LAGOON day. I didn't take my camera into the park because I had too much fun going on all the rides to worry about pictures. But, here are the kids in the awesome matching outfits Grandma bought them--once again, Haley is missing. I heard a lot of people talking about their outfits--they all looked GREAT and they were easy to spot! It was such a fun day! All of the Webb clan was there and my brother Jack and his wife Amanda came as well! All three of my children went on the white rollercoaster this year--that's right, the BIG rollercoaster! In fact, Caden went 3 times!!!!!! We stayed until the place closed down--we were exhausted but Lagoon Day is always one of the highlights of our Utah trip!

Slip and Sliding in the backyard!

The kids begged Grandpa for a Slip and Slide and well, here they GO! They had a terrific time. I didn't get any pictures of little Haley but she just loved hanging out with the "big kids". Thanks Grandpa for providing them with some wet entertainment!

WHAT A SLIDE--even Caden applauded!

This is the Place Monument!

On Friday, July 11th, we went to IHOP for breakfast--Alysa's favorite! From there we went to the "This is the Place" park. Brad and I went here on our first date but it has changed tremendously! It was a nice day and the kids had a lot of fun!

The kids on the train ride around the park. He had to sit right neat the engine--in the blazing sun--Caden's choice!

Alysa working with the wool before it is spun into thread.

Caden couldn't wait to bang that mallet on the stone!
